I’m an author, poet, and essayist based in the Northeast United States. My writing explores desire, vulnerability, identity, and masculinity—often focusing on the quiet, complicated process of becoming more honest with ourselves about who we are and what we feel.
I began writing during a difficult period of my life, when language became a way to make sense of experiences that felt overwhelming or impossible to articulate out loud. At first it was simply a form of escape, a private space where I could think more clearly and feel more freely. Over time, writing became something else: a way of asking questions about identity, intimacy, and the cultural expectations that shape how we understand ourselves.
Across poetry, memoir, and personal essays, my work returns again and again to a few central themes: the tension between strength and softness, the roles many men learn to perform, and the courage it takes to live with greater emotional honesty. I’m interested in the moments when those roles begin to shift—when the armor we’ve built starts to loosen, and something more authentic begins to emerge.
While the subjects I write about can be deeply personal, I’m ultimately drawn to the shared questions underneath them. What does it mean to feel deeply in a culture that often rewards emotional restraint? How do we reconcile the identities we inherit with the lives we actually want to live? And what becomes possible when we begin to question the scripts we were given?
When I’m not writing, I spend most of my time reading, dancing, practicing yoga, and enjoying the company of my two dogs.
